Bishop Malloy is hosting a Year of Faith (YOF) Lecture Series for the Catholics of the Diocese of Rockford. This series consists of lectures held at various times and places around the Diocese. Because many of these lectures will be held in places distant from DeKalb and because these lectures will also be live streamed over the Internet, we have decided to present them simultneously here at the parish. To honor the fiftieth anniversary of the Second Vatican Council and the twentieth anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI has announced a Year of Faith, starting October 11 and ending November 24, 2013, meant to strengthen the faith of Catholics and draw the world to faith by their example.
